Know Your Visa Type Know

There are 3 types of Visas issued by Foreign Diplomatic Institutions of Ukraine:

General information on B type visas

B type visas are issued in cases where a foreigner/stateless person intends to transit through Ukraine and each transit period does not exceed 5 days.

B type visas are issued as single / double / multiple entry visas valid for a maximum of 1 year or another period depending on supporting documents.

General information on C type visas

C type visas are issued in cases where a foreigner/stateless person intends to stay in Ukraine for up to 90 days (within every 180 days).

C type visas are issued as single / double / multiple entry visas valid for 6 months or another period depending on supporting documents but cannot be issued for more than a 5 year-term.

General information on D type visas

D type visas are issued in cases where a foreigner/stateless person intends to apply for a temporary residence permit to stay in Ukraine for more than 90 days.

D type visas are issued as multiple entry visas valid for 90 days.

How To Apply

Step 1

Prepare your application and supporting documents:

Go to “All about your visas” link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find information on the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form and more.

Step 2

Complete your Visa Application Form:

Visit Online Visa Application form to fill in and print out electronic visa application.

Step 3

Submit your application:

Visit Visa Application Centre and submit your completed visa application form along with required supporting documents.

Minor applicants under 18 cannot submit the documents in person, without the presence of parents or legal guardians.

Submission and collection of documents do not require previous appointment.

Visa Application Centres working hours are: 09.00 – 16.30 (Monday to Friday except weekends and holidays).

Step 4

Pay applicable Fee:

Submission Officer will advise you on total payable amount and guide you to the bank cashier where you need to pay Service fee and Visa fee. Receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre. To view the cost of visa fees, service fees and additional services please click here.

Please Note:

At the time of submission at the Visa Application Centre, applicant has the choice to subscribe for Courier Service for return of passport.

Step : 3

After Submission

After you have successfully submitted your application at one of the Visa Application Centres, we will take care to inform you about every movement with SMS service.

Also, you may like to check the status of your application on the website personally.

The third option is to dial our call-centre number. Please, be prepared to tell your receipt number and date of birth.

Having made sure that your passport is received by the Visa Application Centre, you can collect it in person or order a courier delivery to the selected address. The processed passport will not be handed over to any of the travel agent / representative.

“Only Applicant/Family member within Blood Relation/ in case of group any one applicant travelling in the same group/ person from same company can collect the passport/documents, He/she needs to carry a Photo Id of himself/herself, applicant's passport photocopy and an authority letter from the applicant”.

If your passport with the decision is at the Visa Application Centre in New-Delhi and you wish to order a courier delivery of the passport, you need to send a written request to the information e-mail of Visa Application Centre: info.ukrainein@vfshelpline.com and indicate your name and surname, registration number and address to which you want your passport to be delivered. You must also provide a contact telephone number at which the Visa Application Centre may contact you for information.

After verifying the information over the phone, you will be sent details for payment services. After receiving confirmation of payment, your passport will be sent to the chosen address.

In order to collect documents, which have arrived to Visa Application Centre from Embassy/Consulate, please, take your passport and receipt with you. If you have submitted documents on behalf of somebody else, please, take appropriate letter of authority also.

Please be informed that the turn round time for submitting any required documents requested by Embassy is 2 weeks. In case of any failure to provide requested documents within timeline the application will be deliver & handed over to the applicant. In these cases, Visa fees and VFS charges will not be refundable.

Minors (applicants, under 18 years told) cannot submit or collect their applications without their parents or legal tutors. To submit and receive documents for the minor applicants, parents (guardians) must provide an original birth certificate or proof of guardianship fact.
