Terms and Conditions – Employment in Cyprus

  1. The employee must be between 18 and 50 years of age.
  2. The monthly salary will be EUR 600 (netto).
  3. A salary increase will be provided based on performance.
  4. Allowances, if applicable, will also be based on performance.
  5. The employment contract will be for a period of one (1) year and may be extended upon mutual agreement.
  6. The employer will provide accommodation.
  7. Food tickets will not be provided.
  8. The employer will pay the insurance premium.
  9. The employer will pay for the annual medical examination.
  10. The employee will pay the joining ticket from India to Cyprus.
  11. The employee will pay the return ticket upon completion of the contract or upon the employer's early termination.
  12. Regular working hours will be 8 to 10 hours per day and 6 days per week.
  13. Overtime pay will be provided in accordance with the Cyprus Labour Law.
  14. The employer will pay salary tax and levy.
  15. Death compensation will be provided in accordance with the Cyprus Labour Law.
  16. Annual leave and holidays will be granted in accordance with the Cyprus Labour Law.
  17. Transportation between work and accommodation will be provided and paid by the employer.
  18. The employee will bear repatriation costs for terminated workers.
  19. The employer will pay for the repatriation of sick or disabled workers.
